What do you do when you have a passion for art, glass artistry, photography, tulips, unique flowers, the ocean, flowering trees, snow-covered mountains, lighthouses, wildlife, and nature all at the same time? You head to western Washington in April!

I was fortunate to do just that in April and it was an amazing trip! I went with a dear friend so it was even more fun. We had some adventures and laughed a bunch. The important part, though, is wonderful memories were made. 🫶

I took some time off blogging recently to focus on learning new things and exploring new places, both close to home and in Washington. In the next few months I will share some of my adventures and provide information if you would like to add a few things to your bucket list. For today, I will list an few upcoming blog topics and share some photos from my trip.

Upcoming topics include:

  • The Skagit Valley Tulip Festival (much different than those of the Midwest).

  • Wonderful hotels and AirBnbs.

  • Two beautiful Washington State Parks.

  • The Pacific Northwest Quilt and Textile Museum in La Connor, WA.

  • The Chihuly Museum of Garden and Glass in Seattle, the Chihuly Bridge of Glass in Tacoma, and the Museum of Glass in Tacoma.

  • The Space Needle.

  • The Seattle Aquarium, including the brand new Ocean Pavilion.

  • A Seattle Harbor Tour on a Beautiful Day.

  • Snoqualmie Falls.

  • And more…

I will also be blogging about fun things to do in the Midwest this summer as well. So many interesting and free or inexpensive things to do! In the meantime, here is a sneak peek at a few of the 7000 photos I took in Washington. (Compliments of my poor little, overheated phone!) 🥴
